A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wu Bing Fei hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when El Fortín de Floresta's Salvador Hats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save El Fortín de Floresta from getting a goal against them. Salvador Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Lauras Pukelevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play.
