Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Bon Čáp sent off a good shot on target. Thommy Jadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro threw the ball into play from the sideline. MINEIROS's Laércio Ceresso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Bon Čáp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bon Čáp really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 24th minute, Ricardo Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thommy Jadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Thommy Jadis managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bon Čáp scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bon Čáp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 70th minute of play. Thommy Jadis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Paredes in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humberto Severo was slow to take the kick. During this time MINEIROS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MINEIROS's corner Humberto Severo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thommy Jadis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Larbi to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Kevin Mastache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MINEIROS. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MINEIROS had won after a very even match.
