Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ando Koppelmaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Antarctica IF's Flavio Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Balasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Balasi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ando Koppelmaa in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Claus in the 23rd minute. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Pastor Aurken sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Balasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Lehior made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Flavio Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. Flavio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alonso Berganza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Claus in the 45th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pastor Aurken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ando Koppelmaa to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Balasi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play forced Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Erubiel Claus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antarctica IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ando Koppelmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Georg Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ando Koppelmaa's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ando Koppelmaa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Peru booed when Antarctica IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ando Koppelmaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Emmanuel Reyes got away a dangerous shot. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Balasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Flavio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of the match. Emanuel Lehior made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Froilan Bingen. Antarctica IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
