The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Zamfirescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
