Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Valhalla Time's Amaury Hulsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaury Hulsen in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldir Gaúcho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Gisbert's late challenge caught a Valhalla Time's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amaury Hulsen in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Gaúcho. Valhalla Time's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 37th minute. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Waldir Gaúcho made a huge save. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldir Gaúcho came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Camilo Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valhalla Time the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Hermengildo Naike hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aca Larroque struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla Time. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Waldir Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Amaury Hulsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhalla Time's supporters rose to their feet, but Amaury Hulsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 88th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Aca Larroque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aca Larroque really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 96th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaury Hulsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
