NK Ribar Rab's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. With a little luck, NK Ribar Rab's Slavko Šunić got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Maximiliano Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Držimir Peti slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Uruguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
