The corner led Brazil's Alexandre Paz Rocha to fire away a dangerous shot which Zachariasz Dudkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brazil's zone, Eustacio Antonucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Paim Belluci came out of the goal and Eustacio Antonucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loco Ron hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Brazil's Diogo Paim Macedo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Loco Ron, made in the 45th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Antonucci to make the kick off. Murilo Barros Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zachariasz Dudkowski made a huge save. Murilo Barros Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Fabio Zorondo replaced Abundio Manzano. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 85th minute of play. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Murilo Bueno Lobo sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Loco Ron in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brazil's Rafael Machado Cardoso. Murilo Bueno Lobo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Dudkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Bueno Lobo ran back to his position shaking his head. Zachariasz Dudkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Bueno Lobo in the 94th minute. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 95th minute of play. Brazil's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CRUZ DEL SUR had won, even though Brazil had held more of the ball.
