The referee gave Tanner Robertson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nobody knows than me. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abram Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Luque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicky Sargent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicky Sargent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Nobody knows than me's Lukas Oschlag slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. The El Salvador fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when El Salvador's Abram Luque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Nobody knows than me's Giovanni Sams in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Lukas Oschlag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Lukas Oschlag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Oschlag to make the kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Sams, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Oschlag in the 62nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Giovanni Sams notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Leguizamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. When Wayne Benton fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nobody knows than me's protests and gave Wayne Benton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Nobody knows than me was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Benton to maneuver through the defense. Nicky Sargent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 75th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Oschlag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Oschlag in the 88th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Oschlag in the 94th minute of the match.
