After a defensive mix-up in Eibar 09-12-18's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Dimo came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, 高义帆 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Guillerme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Dimo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by 高义帆 in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Boğaçhan Arıkhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Dimo having to interfere. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Eibar 09-12-18's Alfred Velez was substituted for 高义帆. After 71 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Guillerme came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eibar 09-12-18's Esteban Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Dimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper Esteban Dimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaçhan Arıkhan in the 81st minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Esteban Dimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Dimo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Esteban Dimo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Velez in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eibar 09-12-18 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
