Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gelu Ogășanu kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Ogășanu in the 3rd minute of play. Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nistor Pantelimon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Yellow Flag's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nistor Pantelimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Pantelimon. Nistor Pantelimon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Pantelimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yellow Flag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 38thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Yellow Flag booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yellow Flag's goalie prevented a goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yellow Flag players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Pantelimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nistor Pantelimon in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Spiridon in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nistor Pantelimon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Nistor Pantelimon came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 84th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Oardă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Oardă in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
