After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicky Sargent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Giovanni Sams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 10 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Nicky Sargent managed to make a qualified save. Nobody knows than me's players were relieved. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicky Sargent having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Lukas Oschlag notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Oschlag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rufus Jarvis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Nobody knows than me's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Nicky Sargent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 25th minute of play forced Nobody knows than me's goalkeeper Nicky Sargent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Lukas Oschlag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Lukas Oschlag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes, Jurand Henryk mouthed his way into the referee's book. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicky Sargent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Tasis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Oschlag to make the kick off. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Sams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 61 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 66 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Oschlag came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nobody knows than me's Lukas Oschlag got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Eliseo Noboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Oschlag in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Nicky Sargent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
