Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Juniors FC's Uriel Isias got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Alcocer went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Uriel Isias in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Furman to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Porfirio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Porfirio ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Isias took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Costa Rica fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Uriel Isias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-2. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Juniors FC's Uriel Isias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-2 after 38 minutes of play. In the 46th minute, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Juniors FC made a substitution. Jerzy Piszczor replaced Daniel Loi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Frasco was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Frasco took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Frasco in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. In the 60th minute, Enrique Frasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 63 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nicanor Porfirio, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 minutes, Enrique Frasco made it 9-2 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Enrique Frasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juniors FC:s goal. 86 minutes into the game, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-2. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Frasco took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-2. Enrique Frasco scored 13-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Juniors FC were the better team. Juniors FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
