They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domeka Alonso to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save F.C Un dia de partit from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gandolfo Sánchez. That made the score 0-8 in the 57 minute of play. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gandolfo Sánchez made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandolfo Sánchez having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Gandolfo Sánchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandolfo Sánchez having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Gandolfo Sánchez to make any attempt to save it. 82 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gandolfo Sánchez, 0-12. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gandolfo Sánchez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 86 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gandolfo Sánchez made a huge save. Min Abajas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Felix Montenegro in the 91stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gandolfo Sánchez had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Felix Montenegro scored 0-14 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador played a much better game than F.C Un dia de partit and deserved their victory. The F.C Un dia de partit players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
