Ramiro Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ramiro Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 26 in the game by Cumali Aysan from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cumali Aysan in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cumali Aysan was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Villafuerte Olalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ramiro Onofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cumali Aysan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ramiro Onofre made a huge save. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Cumali Aysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Onofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Onofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in TITANS FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Onofre came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Rellan in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Ramiro Onofre managed to make a qualified save. TITANS FC's players were relieved. The supporters of TITANS FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramiro Onofre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ramiro Onofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TITANS FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
