Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Sotil went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Sotil in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Sotil in the 29th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Bicicleta F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bicicleta F.C.'s Gregorio Abalos tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gaston Astrada got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Segundo Feliu. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Feliu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bicicleta F.C. were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Sotil to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Segundo Feliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Feliu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Löv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Gregorio Abalos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bicicleta F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Gregorio Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Löv having to make a save. Gaston Astrada made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Segundo Feliu immediately put the ball in play. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Feliu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 95th minute.
