Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alen Kovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as --Sibenik--'s Antun Bunić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dražen Repac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, --Sibenik--'s Jasenko Rogošić got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Borislav Tvrdić notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dražen Repac sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alen Kovič having to make a save. Alen Kovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Antun Bunić in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Antun Bunić was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Borislav Tvrdić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as --Sibenik--'s Antun Bunić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jasenko Rogošić came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borislav Tvrdić to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alen Kovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alen Kovič was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save --Sibenik-- from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, --Sibenik-- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gradimir Venturin to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Antun Bunić made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meliton Kovič during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to --Sibenik-- getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Meliton Kovič hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, --Sibenik--'s Jasenko Rogošić made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alen Kovič. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borislav Tvrdić in the 94th minute of play. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
