Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Fernandino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Julio Chicote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Benito Madrid hit a great ball. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Paul Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rupert Valencia sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yong Aldridge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alfredo Ferrant came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Ferrant couldn't finish the play. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Chicote struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Paul Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. After a defensive mix-up in Las Lomas Las's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Montoya came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sherwood Case hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Paul Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Paul Montoya made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yong Aldridge in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Alfredo Yeats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Lomas Las's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Las Lomas Las's Alfredo Yeats got a free kick in the 75th minute. Brian McCall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Brian McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Rupert Valencia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Lomas Las's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. After 81 played minutes Las Lomas Las got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Valencia. 88 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Las Lomas Las's Paul Montoya. Paul Montoya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Montoya. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play. Bolivia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
