Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luizinho Quintals short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfredão do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of M0RF1G4Z's Alfredão do Nascimento. Alfredão do Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredão do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredão do Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredão do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 97 minutes of play, M0RF1G4Z's Keijo Mina made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
