Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nicasio Nofre kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Maximiliano Lleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Condarco's goalkeeper Maximiliano Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Condarco's Maximiliano Lleir did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Lleir saved Condarco from getting behind. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Condarco booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Condarco's protests and gave Cleto Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Lleir made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Condarco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximiliano Lleir quite easily take care of the ball. Condarco's Maximiliano Lleir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Condarco from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Condarco made a substitution. Luís de Godoi replaced Octavio Gaitan. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Lleir having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Luís de Godoi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Luís de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Condarco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís de Godoi couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
