The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Balıkesirspor's Baki Laçin. Baki Laçin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baki Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yılmaz Veli hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balıkesirspor's Baki Laçin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baki Laçin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Baki Laçin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 46th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baki Laçin having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baki Laçin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play forced Balıkesirspor's goalkeeper Baki Laçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Baki Laçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Yılmaz Veli put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balıkesirspor.
