In the 12th match minute, FC Melon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Adamec to maneuver through the defense. If Peter Holub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomáš Guzy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Adamec in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Tomáš Guzy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Melon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Guzy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Guzy got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matej Adamec in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes, FC Melon's Vladimír Madeja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Melon reached it. In the 40th match minute, FC Melon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Adamec to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Lukáš Hučka got a free kick in the 41st minute.
