Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lou Cromefeldt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Colebrants having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fc Rossem booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibo Cromefeldt in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Rossem's Yannik Van der Meiren got a free kick in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Evert Lanphant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Rossem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. 27 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's Lou Cromefeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 39th minute of play. Lou Cromefeldt struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Rossem. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Lou Cromefeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tibo Cromefeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibo Cromefeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Lou Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Tibo Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tibo Cromefeldt came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tibo Cromefeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibo Cromefeldt's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play. When Felix Vereect came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Fc Rossem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Vereect couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 81st minute of the match. Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Rossem from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Tibo Cromefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Rossem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibo Cromefeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Rossem from getting a goal against them. The Fc Rossem players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
