In the 5th match minute, Pogromcy Flaków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liu Yang Cheng to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Patanapong Xintarianos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szymon Pysz's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szymon Pysz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, one of Pogromcy Flaków:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pogromcy Flaków. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Pogromcy Flaków's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Pogromcy Flaków's goalkeeper. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patanapong Xintarianos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Yaşar Zahit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogromcy Flaków's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaşar Zahit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Di Peng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patanapong Xintarianos's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Patanapong Xintarianos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 64thth minute of the game Patanapong Xintarianos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pogromcy Flaków made a substitution. Alejandro Gomez replaced Yaşar Zahit. Jaroslaw Kaczorowski made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patanapong Xintarianos in the 82nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patanapong Xintarianos in the 86th minute of play. Jaroslaw Kaczorowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Kaczorowski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patanapong Xintarianos in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Kajetan Gargasz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patanapong Xintarianos in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
