Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleiton Vidal. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. William Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zhang Zheng Liang hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Vila Mascote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which William Rosa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Felix Montenegro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The William Rosa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton Vidals short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but William Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleiton Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but William Rosa made a huge save. In the 51st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind William Rosa. William Rosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Vidal in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Cleiton Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleiton Vidal's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Vidal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Santana's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Santana helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vila Mascote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Rosa made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Vidal in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Zhang Zheng Liang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Vila Mascote FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
