Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ben Koeling made a great header on Milky Way's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. 18 minutes into the match, Milky Way's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Klemen Mikuž reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Milky Way's Svit Tavčer got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klemen Mikuž showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klemen Mikuž narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zladko Terdič's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zladko Terdič helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemen Mikuž saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Klemen Mikuž however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Klemen Mikuž made a huge save. Zija Pleteršek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Milky Way's Armin Gradin was substituted for Sergej Kous. Milky Way's Ronald Verbič was substituted for Agnaldo Ramalho. A collision led to Milky Way getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zija Pleteršek hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Verbič in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Milky Way's goalkeeper Klemen Mikuž had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 82nd minute Ronald Verbič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jožko Špehar in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 88th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jožko Špehar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
