Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Marques having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Guilherme Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Guilherme Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BRASIL.Sp's Ernesto Illescas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. In the 25th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fagondo Vasquez to maneuver through the defense. BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusébio Barros's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Eusébio Barros got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Luís Guilherme Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Matos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Ernesto Illescas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Luís Guilherme Marques however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BRASIL.Sp.
