Buffalo Bills's Ansyari Kapisa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 3 minute of the game. Lothar Schorling scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Mendiguren in the 8th minute of play. Buffalo Bills's Lars Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Schorling came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Schorling in the 15th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothar Schorling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ricart Mendiguren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lothar Schorling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Lothar Schorling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Lars Köhler made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Matthew Garrido made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abraham Alguacil. The supporters of Buffalo Bills booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Alfred Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalo Bills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Wieczorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Lothar Schorling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lothar Schorling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lothar Schorling to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Miguel Miralles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffalo Bills the free kick. After 57 played minutes, Buffalo Bills's Alfred Wieczorek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buffalo Bills reached it. The supporters of Buffalo Bills booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothar Schorling in the 62nd minute of play. Lothar Schorling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd play minute Lothar Schorling came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 0-5. Buffalo Bills's Lars Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute of play. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lars Köhler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Buffalo Bills made a substitution. Wyatt Snow replaced Lothar Schorling. In the 88th minute, Wyatt Snow fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90thth minute of the game Wyatt Snow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Wyatt Snow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After 94 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. In the 95th minute of the match Keiran Knightley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Mendiguren in the 96th minute of play.
