Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Francesco Totti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Francesco Totti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Angel Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Totti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play forced Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Los Mega's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to a score. 1-1 in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Mega's Miroslaw Resel got a free kick in the 16th minute. Federico Jaizki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Federico Jaizki. Los Mega's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Totti was the one to do the kick off. If Stig-Arne Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Los Mega getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Miroslaw Resel hit a great ball. Federico Jaizki made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Melberg in the 58th minute of the match. Los Mega's Federico Jaizki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Los Mega from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Calvet in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Joseph was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Mega's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Angel Valerio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Calvet in the 73rd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Totti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Los Mega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Mega's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Jaizki came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Abel Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Mega's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Calvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 95 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Jaizki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
