In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Söderbröder's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Qu Liang notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderbröder the free kick. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Matheus Baltazars short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Axel Nyman saved Söderbröder from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Bertassi. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Eric Petersson scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Gláuber Bertassi with Alessandro Clarkfeldt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Matheus Baltazar made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Nyman having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Eric Petersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Petersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Gláuber Bertassi made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alessandro Clarkfeldt. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Söderbröder's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Karl-Axel Nyman made a huge save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Baltazar in the 74th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Baltazar's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Axel Nyman. Söderbröder's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Karl-Axel Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Gláuber Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Clarkfeldt made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. In the 96thth minute of the game Matheus Baltazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Söderbröder's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
