Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Borówiec. With a little luck, FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Wit Dombrowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Borys Buffon to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 22 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after FC Borówiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Dombrowski in the 31st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Niemoj, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Borys Buffon made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Borys Buffon, 3-1. In the 46th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Buffon. The goal made the score 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, FC Borówiec's Wit Dombrowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Hamza Erzan scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 4-3. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The long shot by Marek Galus in the 61st minute really tested Dante Lacasa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Borys Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamza Erzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Borówiec:s goal. Jiang Fan Di placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Adam Petka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Dombrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Buffon having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Dombrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Petka in the 96th minute.
