Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Mehmet Akif Ersoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rodrigo Nestor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 11 in the game by Rodrigo Nestor from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Marcus Isaksson got a free kick in the 11th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Nestor went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when ZigZag Athletic's Rodrigo Nestor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mehmet Akif Ersoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ZigZag Athletic defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. The ZigZag Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Akif Ersoy should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicki Nick in the 33rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in ZigZag Athletic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Nestor in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes of play, ZigZag Athletic's Rodrigo Nestor made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Nestor to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, ZigZag Athletic's Rodrigo Nestor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. Per-Olof Brolin replaced Kjell Boberg. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZigZag Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Akif Ersoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Akif Ersoy having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Rodrigo Nestor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 70th minute of the match. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZigZag Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. ZigZag Athletic's Jesper Vollander was substituted for Nicki Nick. After 88 minutes ZigZag Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 89 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
