Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Nagyváradi AC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Nagyváradi AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jos Van Hinnendael successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jos Van Hinnendael in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jos Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Ákos Szél got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Jedrzej Kasprzak made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 50th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Jos Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Nagyváradi AC's Jedrzej Kasprzak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jos Van Hinnendael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Jos Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes Nagyváradi AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ákos Szél recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gergely Müller hit a great ball. Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jos Van Hinnendael quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ákos Szél. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jos Van Hinnendael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes Nagyváradi AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 92nd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
