After having played for 23 minutes, Lev Kalinin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuareg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lev Kalinin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tuareg booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Klim Shatalov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valeriy Noskov in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jorge Magrina hit a great ball. Klim Dolgolaptev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 34th minute of play. Bogdan Muhin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriy Noskov. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriy Noskov in the 52nd minute of play. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klim Shatalov, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriy Noskov in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tuareg fully deserved thier win.
