Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Waldemar Dula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Dula came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Dula having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Severo in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goalkeeper Waldemar Dula, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Waldemar Dula did a great save. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Severo in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute John McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 33rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Agustín Saelices advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 39th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Dula having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Waldemar Dula managed to make a qualified save. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's players were relieved. 56 minutes into the match, Călin Dedu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's John McDecland in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's John McDecland. But to his dismay, John McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
