Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeledon Niguel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Bologna having to interfere. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NANO FC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Bologna. The NANO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Bologna should have stopped the shot. A collision led to NANO FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristiano Rolando hit a great ball. NANO FC's Enrique Bologna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Rogelio Sauveur threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NANO FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Saul Kusko hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The throw-in from Rogelio Sauveur in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Enrique Bologna made a huge save. When Norberto Matei fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NANO FC's protests and gave Norberto Matei a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when NANO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Enrique Bologna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 85 minutes into the game, Zeledon Niguel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes NANO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Edorta. After having played for 93 minutes, Christian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Bologna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 95th minute of the match. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but NANO FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
