Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mikael Österberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Alliance's Mikael Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 17th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Mikael Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alliance's Torgny Lind managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 23 minute of the game. When Xavier Zoido came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Zoido couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Jesper Odén made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the The Alliance defense, Alan Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Österberg. The The Alliance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Österberg should have stopped the shot. Mikael Österberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Mikael Österberg. Hector Covarrubias's late challenge caught a The Alliance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ivan Prats made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hector Covarrubias immediately put the ball in play. Hector Covarrubias in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mikael Österberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jaime Pardo put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Mikael Österberg. In the last second Mikael Österberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jaime Pardo in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Österberg. Mikael Österberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 81st minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. With his leg Mikael Österberg managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mikael Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pardo in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mikael Österberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Juan Diego Tenorio took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Mikael Österberg to make any attempt to save it. The The Alliance fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
