Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Gniech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Arnista in the 9th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Peru's Julian Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Gniech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute, Eliseo Mina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Zagórna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Marek to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Marian Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peru's Luz Tejedor, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 27th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marian Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zagórna defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Gniech. The Zagórna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Gniech should have stopped the shot. Marian Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Kiliz got free with Rolando Noboa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Kiliz in the 42nd minute of play. Jakub Miarka kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Gwidon Arnista tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Peru were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 51st minute of play. Jan-Åke Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Jan-Åke Fransson made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jan-Åke Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Gniech having to interfere. Zagórna's Florian Kapinos was substituted for Tiburcio Kiliz. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marian Gniech made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Gniech saved Zagórna from getting behind. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 93rd minute Jan-Åke Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
