Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Ahlström in the 4th minute of the match. After 6 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vidar Vikström who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Liden FF's Rasmus Ahlström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 9 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Liden FF's Vidar Vikström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute Marcu Vlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
