After 3 minutes, Christer Sundin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 minutes, Stanley Wallace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Stanley Wallace. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Sundin in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ulf Björk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bertil Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Bollström in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Christer Sundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Kennet Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 22nd minute when Christer Sundin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Christer Sundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Sundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Christer Sundin put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Nils-Erik Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Christer Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Sundin in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kennet Finnman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Sundin in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Larsson came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Erik Brun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanley Wallace in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Kyle Davies dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils-Erik Brun, 1-6. The Curacao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were winning 1-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Christer Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Michael Larsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 56 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Sundin got free with Bruno Barrett in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Christer Sundin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Karl-Michael Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Larsson couldn't finish the play. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Christer Sundin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bertil Bollström scored 1-10 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Christer Sundin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Anthon Soned managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthon Soned was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Christer Sundin put it in 1-12 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. A hard shot 89 in the game by Christer Sundin from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Christer Sundin. But to his dismay, Christer Sundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Bollström in the 94th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
