When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ben-Ami Ranchin sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekka Rollins in the 15th minute of play. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Rio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 26th minute of the match. Isidoro Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Octavio Frederik made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Axel Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoro Rio. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Octavio Frederik got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben-Ami Ranchin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bello Cura was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentinean Patriots 1816's players had a chance to rest. Ben-Ami Ranchin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Ben-Ami Ranchin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Ben-Ami Ranchin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 65th minute. Argentinean Patriots 1816 made a substitution. Cristo Bastiaro replaced Baldomiro Ospetsu. After having played for 72 minutes, Pekka Rollins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentinean Patriots 1816's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekka Rollins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben-Ami Ranchin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Bello Cura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Bello Cura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 77th minute of play. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
