Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mira Sintra's goalkeeper João Brites, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Brites read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Mira Sintra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Agustín Saelices getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. João Brites made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Mira Sintra's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but João Brites reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mira Sintra's goalkeeper João Brites had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 33rd match minute, Mira Sintra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudemiro Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Mira Sintra's goalkeeper João Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. João Brites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of the match. Aldaír Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amauri van Beek made a kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 秦浩洲 in the 55th minute of the match. João Brites made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mira Sintra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. João Brites took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Brites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Brites. João Brites dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Brites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Claudemiro Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri van Beek in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri van Beek in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Brites breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Brites read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Wendy Irama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Brites having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
