Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Voldemārs Cariņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Ailenei in the 10th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes FC Riga got a freekick which was hit by Voldemārs Cariņš. Voldemārs Cariņš kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saivis Kikals was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saivis Kikals saved FC Riga from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Marin Ailenei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marin Ailenei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Kaspars Ketris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 31 played minutes FC Riga got a freekick which was hit by Voldemārs Cariņš. In the 32nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Kaspars Ketris notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 38 minutes, Marin Ailenei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Riga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Ailenei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Riga booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, FC Riga's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Saivis Kikals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Ailenei to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Saivis Kikals when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Saivis Kikals skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saivis Kikals quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jimmy Svenningsted struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Riga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 70th minute of play forced FC Riga's goalkeeper Saivis Kikals to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ailenei in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Saivis Kikals in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, FC Riga's goalkeeper Saivis Kikals had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Ailenei's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Svenningsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Ailenei came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Riga's Marin Ailenei shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Voldemārs Cariņš made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aleksandrs Meijers. Jimmy Svenningsted scored 5-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aleksandrs Meijers hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
