Mira Sintra's João Brites played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Vicente Taveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mira Sintra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Mira Sintra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Vicente Taveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. After 36 played minutes Mira Sintra got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Bento. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Vicente Taveira sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Paulo Bento in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Camilo Gaos. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri van Beek came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Taveira got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Mira Sintra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Rusin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦浩洲 in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦浩洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Taveira went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri van Beek in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Wendy Irama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Taveira in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mira Sintra's Éder Couto was substituted for Vicente Taveira. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amauri van Beek went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mira Sintra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
