Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jarod Haskins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chase Erwin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Chase Erwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Jorginho Esteves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricardo Zorita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jarod Haskins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Franklin came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Holloway took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chase Erwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Jarod Haskins. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Clark Holloway sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to American Airlines getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alfonzo Vinson hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carson Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. When Morgan Cronshagen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Airlines's protests and gave Morgan Cronshagen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Cronshagen to maneuver through the defense. Clark Holloway scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Clark Holloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. American Airlines's Chase Erwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save American Airlines from getting a goal against them. If Jarod Haskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chase Erwin made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Ochoa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Abram Luque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Chase Erwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moises Fernandino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. El Salvador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. American Airlines were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Salvador for a fine match.
