Alan Rosado made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Alan Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute. New Ordem FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reemy Huijgens in the 58th minute. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alan Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After having played for 96 minutes, Eliseo Alcocer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Alcocer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. New Ordem FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
