A collision led to TUNGSTA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Angelo Montaño hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, TUNGSTA's Eugenio Romillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Romillo in the 34th minute of play. Eugenio Romillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Romillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Eugenio Romillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUNGSTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Romillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes TUNGSTA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Roson. In the 56th match minute, TUNGSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ur Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes TUNGSTA got a freekick which was hit by Ur Fernandez. Angelo Montaño hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Montaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. TUNGSTA made a substitution. Jacobo Ruilopez replaced Eugenio Romillo. When Mario Tuñon fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TUNGSTA's protests and gave Mario Tuñon a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, Angelo Montaño threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 93 minutes into the game, TUNGSTA's Jacobo Ruilopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TUNGSTA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
