Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Skallergård, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Edgar Gregorczyk threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Edgar Gregorczyk however easily saved by the left post. Aureliusz Dlugi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Dziurowicz in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cyryl Dziurowicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Edgar Gregorczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, KS Blizne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Bugno to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Gregorczyk. KS Blizne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 92nd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Mexico lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
