With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Tepedino saved Que se abra o mar from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Loco Orange sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 29th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Bebeto Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Que se abra o mar and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Bebeto Pimenta got a free kick in the 31st minute. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. Que se abra o mar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
