Illés Kiss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss. Illés Kiss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Szabolcs Vígh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Illés Kiss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Áron Jánosi in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Gergely in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Ecuador booed when Újlõrincfalva LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Szigligeti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szabolcs Vígh in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59th play minutes Szabolcs Vígh shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Újlõrincfalva LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss did a great save. Illés Kiss made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Illés Kiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 71st minute of play. Szabolcs Vígh hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Áron Jánosi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Gergely in the 88th minute of the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Újlõrincfalva LC to leave the ground with a draw.
