The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicodemo Sierro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desire Mañaria in the 30th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zebolla FC's Beti Buedo. Desire Mañaria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodemo Sierro having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Nicodemo Sierro. Zebolla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Primitivo Andino made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Zorita however managed to control. Giorgos Dimas's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Dimas helped the player get up and apologised. Nicodemo Sierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. The Zebolla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Nicodemo Sierro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Desire Mañaria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicodemo Sierro. That made the score 1-3 after 59 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicodemo Sierro came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 65th minute. Zebolla FC's Dominix Respaldizar was substituted for Perutxo Hondaro. If Desire Mañaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Dominix Respaldizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebolla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominix Respaldizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zebolla FC's Dante Zubillaga suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 73 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zebolla FC the free kick. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Sierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Nicodemo Sierro made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th match minute, Zebolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cibran Aladro to maneuver through the defense. Nicodemo Sierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Cristian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, one of Zebolla FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zebolla FC. Daniel Zorita walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Cibran Aladro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zebolla FC.
